Dear Friends and Sponsors… Each year we come to you asking for your support for our annual “Boots ‘N Saddles” fundraising event. This year I’d like to explain where YOUR contribution goes. Most of the monies received for our “Boots N Saddles” fundraiser go to two major charities… Foundation for Burns and Trauma and Rotary’s Gift of Life/AZ.,Inc. Last year with your generous donation, we were able to provide more than $75,000.00 to Valley charities. A large contribution of $33,000.00 was given to the Foundation for Burns and Trauma, allowing children who are burn survivors to go to camp without fear of intimidation by other children or embarrassment because of their scars and handicaps. We provided $15,000.00 to Gift of Life… allowing children, who would otherwise likely die from his or her heart condition, to receive the appropriate operations and treatments, necessary to save their lives… So it is, we come to you and ask for your generous donation to our 12th annual “Boots ‘N Saddles” fundraising event.
Our “Boots ‘N Saddles” event will be held at West World of Scottsdale, Arizona, on April 26, 2008, at 6:00 PM. While you are enjoying your steak dinner, complete with dessert, the silent auction will be taking place…along with a dynamic performance by Scottsdale’s own “Singing Cowboy”, Gary Sprague. Following dinner, you will have the opportunity to be a part of the live auction, which in the past has offered, cruises, rounds of golf, hotel stays, jewelry, vacations, items from our own Phoenix Suns, Diamondbacks, Cardinals, and Coyotes sports teams…just to mention a few.
