Dear Friends and Sponsors… We've been hearing a lot about change recently. Some things, however, are a constant - such as the need to take care of those less fortunate than us. How we go about supporting and funding this has to change to keep the process vitalized. This year in planning our annual "Boots' N Saddles" fundraising event, we introduce an "exciting change". The event will be moved from West World in Scottsdale to The Camelback Inn located on Lincoln in Paradise Valley. Friday April 3rd, 2009 starting at 5:30pm Our Keynote Speaker will be Jason Schechterle. His positive message of courage and determination will have a lasting impact on those who attend the event. Prior to enjoying your "served dinner", complete with wine and dessert, the silent auction will be taking place. Entertainment will grace the room while enjoying dinner. During the evening you will have the opportunity to be part of the action-filled live auction. Last year, with your generous donation, we were able to provide more than $65,000 to Valley charities. A large contribution of $30,000 was given to the Foundation for Burns and Trauma, allowing children who are burn survivors to go to camp with thier peers and support groups. We provided $12,500 to Gift of Life Arizona, Inc., giving children who would likely die from their ailing heart condition, the opportunity to receive the appropriate surgery and treatments, necessary to save their lives. So it is, we come to you and ask for your continued support of the Phoenix Camelback Rotary Club's 13th Annual "Boots' N Saddles" fundraising event. How can you provide support to the event you ask?
