Re: Burns & Trauma Fund Raising
Dear friend,
As you are aware I’m sure, I had the misfortune of being severely burned in a police cruiser rear end collision. With the support of my wife Suzie, my children, the Phoenix Police and Fire Departments, and the community, we now live a full and prosperous life. Many young folks suffer similar accidents without the community support that availed me. Fortunately in Arizona, we have an annual retreat hosted by The Foundation for Burns and Trauma to help heal the internal scars of burn victim survivors, Camp Courage in Prescott Arizona.
This year we are assisting the Phoenix Camelback Rotary Club with their BOOTS’N SADDLES fund raising event. A major portion of the funds raised at this event, are directly funneled to the cost of sending burn survivors to Camp Courage.
Funding for this event, which will be held at West World in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 21, 2007, is derived from six major sources:
- BOOTS’N SADDLES sponsors
- Advertising in the event program
- Lottery ticket sales
- Ticket sales for the event
- Silent auction of donated items conducted at the event
- Live auction of donated items conducted at the event
I am requesting that you help Suzie and myself in this fund raising event for burn survivors, by participating in one or more of these funding areas.
Thank you.
Sincerely,

Jason Schechterle
